Revisiting a milestone from 1969, Girard-Perregaux’s Deep Diver returns as a limited-edition collaboration with Bamford Watch Department, honouring a model once defined by its experimental spirit and technical ambition. The original Deep Diver was known for its 14-facet bezel, vivid red dial, and use of the innovative Gyromatic system. This re-edition faithfully echoes those elements, framed in a modernised aesthetic under the Legacy Editions programme. Its standout orange, white and blue dial features rectangular indexes treated with luminescent material emitting a blue glow. Both the “GIRARD-PERREGAUX” and “BAMFORD” names are prominently printed, underscoring the collaborative nature of this limited edition. Housed within is the automatic Calibre GP03300, offering a 46-hour power reserve, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback. The piece is worn on a blue rubber strap and is part of Girard-Perregaux’s Legacy Editions series – a tribute to design heritage, technical legacy, and contemporary interpretation.
